The Falconry Experience

Teambuilding With A Difference............

Focus on business in our Rutherford Bench meeting room, have a meeting, followed by  lunch and an afternoon teambuilding experience, with professional falconer, Paul Manning, founder of amews falconry,Beaulieu,Hampshire.

£95.00pp (minimum 10 persons)

The price includes, meeting facilities, coffee and Danish pastries on arrival,  2 course lunch, afternoon tea and (3 hour) falconry experience.

After lunch you will meet and handle these magnificent birds of prey and watch them fly. Experience and discover the history of falconry and its iconic roots in the English language. Falconry has been practised in the New Forest for more than a 1000 years and has remained largely unchanged. You will gain an understanding of falconry and falconry birds, with the opportunity to experience holding and flying these beautiful predators.

This activity is open to everyone regardless of age, fitness and ability.

The "training", motivating, and conditioning of a Bird of Prey to hunt with man, is a very difficult and complex art, which has many parallels within the workplace, especially when managing business relationships.

This is an exciting, inspiring and truly memorable experience, ideal for staff motivation and team building.


Our Rutherford Bench meetings facilities are ideal for meetings:

We can provide working breakfasts, lunches or evening meals, plus overnight accommodation and meeting space for up to 30 people in our Rutherford Bench Room

We offer a professional, friendly service without the bustle and distractions of a larger hotel. Our facilities are ideal for smaller, intimate meetings, training events, briefings and company award presentations with good road, rail and airport links.

As well as imaginative food, drink and accommodation, we provide a comfortable, air-conditioned meeting room option, equipped with Wi-Fi Internet, audio/visual facilities and black-out blinds. Conference phone, Hitachi CP RX80 projector & screen.

By prior arrangement the lounge can be used as a syndicate room or smaller meeting room for up to 6 people
