He is now officially the WORLD’S BEST SOMMELIER, 2010 We are all so proud of him and we can’t wait to be back in the UK to start celebrating- however we are currently stranded here in Chile due to the volcanic dust, but it doesn’t matter as lying by the pool, drinking Pisco Sours seems like a just reward for Gerard’s fantastic success! At long last he has been crowned BEST SOMMELIER IN THE WORLD and Chile has been such an exciting, friendly and fantastic place to have won such an accolade. We will tell you all the details of the whole trip once we are home, but now the Champagne awaits and the celebrations begin…. Sante! |
